Jeans for Geeks

Since most of the posts this week somehow wound up being about ways to look like a complete idiot, I figured I’d finish the week off strong and share with you one of the weirder things I have come across on the web recently. Designed by Erik De Nijs, the “Beauty & the Geek” concept jeans are “modern shaped trousers which are often worn by youngsters…” and feature a built-in keyboard, speakers, and a mouse strapped to the backpocket. Despite the strong temptation to comment on the obvious implications derived from the keyboards placement, I think i will leave that to you.

RSS Awareness Day

RSS Awareness Day

It appears that today has been marked as RSS Awareness Day among members of the blogging community in an effort to increase the usage of RSS feeds, and related applications. For those who are unfamiliar with RSS (Really Simple Syndication), it essentially aggregates newly posted stories from your favorite blogs into one page so that you don’t have visit each site. To start using it simply register with an RSS reader like Google Reader, and then go to your favorite websites and subscribe to their feeds by clicking on their RSS icon ().
