Stay Cool At Work

The summer heat has really been cranking up here in LA as of recently, and even though my office has a turbo charged AC system, it has become challenging to stay focused, especially when wearing the suit and tie. If you are in a similar situation, let me introduce you to the Thanko USB Necktie. It comes with a small hidden fan that can be powered by a battery or by a USB cable, and is guaranteed to help you stay cool under pressure!

Who Else Loves Post-It-Notes

So a friend of mine has been working on some ads for Post-It notes manufactured by 3M, and has been asking me for some feedback on his ideas. Naturally the first thing I did was go online and try to find some of their previous marketing efforts. After doing a few quick searches on the old google I was amazed to find an endless offering of art/pranks made with post-it notes. Its truly amazing. Sure, we have all used up a whole pad of post-it notes on a small prank, or for drawing doodles during the company quarterly meeting, but I only dreamed of using them in the capacity that some of these people did.

Here’s some of the best ones I found:

If you happen to work at Yahoo right now, the whole Microsoft buy-out thing has probably been quite stressful lately. Apparently a handful of execs recently hit the road, and that’s usually a pretty bad sign, so chances are the thought of quitting has crossed your mind at least once.

Eclipse Office Partitioning System

The Eclipse Office Partioning System is considered the future of cubicle workspaces by some.

Not only does it roll around and look like a mini-spaceship (sort of..if you squint your eyes), but it comes with all sorts of high tech stuff. For example, the top shade can be projected onto, meaning the operator of the system can visually project themselves into any environment they please…like a intergalatic space battle. The Eclipse also comes with video cameras, integrated speakers, and embedded lights.

Sadly, the Eclipse Office Partitioning System by Marcus ward Curran is a mere concept at the moment, so for now you’ll just have to throw a blanked over your cubicle and pretend your in one.
