Clothes Pin USB Memory Stick
It seems like most memory sticks have been deemed unmarketable these days unless they are crafted to look like some random mildly amusing object or animal, like a humping dog, or a donut. This one however, feels different. I like to that that instead of this being a flash drive pretending to be a clothes pin, its actually a clothes pin that just happens to be equipped with a flash drive..you know, just in case.

Floppy Disk Inspired Safe
Yet another floppy disk inspired product. Sadly this “Safe Save” is merely a concept which is a bummer because I like the idea. But now that I think about it..the physical safe is cool and all, but someone should make external harddrive that looks just like this.

Another Floppy Disc USB Drive

I gotta say, the floppy disk is making a big comeback these days…sort of. Here’s another floppy disc turned USB drive, but this time without that annoying USB cable, and instead featuring a retractable USB plug.

USB Volume Controller
Do you happen to have some empty USB hub ports sitting around? Yeah me neither, but if I did I might be inclined to get one of these slider volume controllers since there are no volume buttons on my keyboard.

Hand Signal R/C Window Sign
One of the few positive things about the current state of the economy is the fact that people seem to be driving less to save money, and consequently the traffic during my morning commute has gotten slightly better.
But less drivers doesn’t neccesarily mean safer driving conditions, as I still get cut off constantly, which is why this remote controlled sign featuring a variety of hand gestures should be fun to use during the mornings. Aside from the token middlefinger, I can also give courteous drives who let me switch lanes their proper dues.

The New & Improved Floppy Disk
I’m sure you all still remember the floppy disk right…that old storage device from the 80’s that always had slightly less available storage space then you needed. Well despite most estimates of it having been permanently retired, the floppy disk has recently made a triumphant return after receiving a slight upgrade. Thomas O’Connor of Detroit took the infamous piece of square plastic and recycled it into a USB Drive so you could store more than the traditional 1.44mb. Nice!!

Super Tiny USB Keyboard
As opposed to the worlds largest keyboard I showed you guys a few days ago, this keyboard from Brando is absolutely tiny. While it doesn’t quite qualify as the worlds smallest keyboard, at 6.6 inches it’s about as small as I could ever handle for use with a desktop computer.
It crams in 56 keys, including caps lock, num lock, and function keys, and has a mini-USB connector on the back.
The Super Tiny Keyboard can be yours for only $25.

Email Notification Box
Like most other people who have become slaves of the workplace, I spend an inordinate amount of time checking my email. Partly because I take pride in responding to work related emails in a timely fashion, but also because it’s the ultimate distraction from an otherwise dull environment. I mean who knows that types of delightful surprises might be waiting in your inbox? Perhaps a message from an old friend, a new facebook notification, or maybe the lottery chose you as their first random online winner!
Point being, sometimes you need to know right away when you get a new email. So why not use this strangely large, envelope shaped blue box, that lights up when you have a new message. It works in the background via USB and supports Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, Outlook Express, and POP3.

Mail Goggles Help Save Face
If you have a bad habit getting drunk and sending inappropriate emails to your ex girlfriends/co-workers/random people who’s business card you found in your wallet…then this new feature from Google Labs, titled Mail Google, might just help you salvage whats left of your social reputation.
As if doing math while sober wasn’t hard enough, Mail Google forces you to successfully complete a series of math equations before allowing you to send that email expressing your undying affection for your co-worker.
Its creators explain:
When you enable Mail Goggles, it will check that you’re really sure you want to send that late night Friday email. And what better way to check than by making you solve a few simple math problems after you click send to verify you’re in the right state of mind?
By default, Mail Goggles is only active late night on the weekend as that is the time you’re most likely to need it. Once enabled, you can adjust when it’s active in the General settings.
Now if only someone could could replicate the program to work with text messaging.
