Be Smart, Clip Smart
Be Smart, Clip Smart
The paperless office was supposed to be here by now, but while we continue to wait, here is a something to make keeping your documents together a lot easier; The Smart Clipper from Smart Office Products. It comes in three sizes: Large, Medium, and Small. Good thinking there. One size never fits all. It also makes a good bookmark.
I particularly like that it stacks flat on the desk. The aesthetics of my home office leave enough to be desired without making the piles of paper on my desk look like leaning towers about to fall over when I sneeze. The clipper also evidently comes in handy for sealing the bags inside cereal bags. I guess that qualifies as thinking inside-the-box.

The Rocket Alarm Clock
For some people (myself included), getting out of bed in the morning is the hardest part of the day. The instant gratification derived from hitting the snooze button just one more time can be difficult to overcome, and often results in rushed/poor decisions when it comes to matters like your work attire (wearing mis-matched shoes can only go unnoticed for so long), or your choice of breakfast (although convenient, nothing from McDonald’s can reasonably be justified as an acceptable substitute for a healthy breakfast).
Many attempts have been made at producing the ultimate alarm clock, but none have been able to spread fear and panic through the minds of 9-5′ers quite like The Rocket Alarm Clock.
When the designated wake-up time arrives, the Rocket Alarm Clock begins a 10 second countdown, during which time you can turn it off without further consequences. If ignored however, it blasts a rocket across the room, and the only way to turn off the sounding alarm is to get up, retrieve the rocket, and place it back on the launching pad.

16 Port USB Hub
By now most of us have accumulated entirely way too many USB devices. Between the printers, iPhones, cameras, spy pens, mp3 players, and the hundreds of flash drives we have collected, there are simply not enough USB hubs on our PC’s to accommodate our gadget needs.
Luckily the 16 Port USB Hub from Brando has arrived. It allows you to connect 16 USB devices, and can be connected to two computers, so that you can switch the USB devices between the two!

Stay Cool At Work
The summer heat has really been cranking up here in LA as of recently, and even though my office has a turbo charged AC system, it has become challenging to stay focused, especially when wearing the suit and tie. If you are in a similar situation, let me introduce you to the Thanko USB Necktie. It comes with a small hidden fan that can be powered by a battery or by a USB cable, and is guaranteed to help you stay cool under pressure!

Dominate The Office With The Emperor Workstation
The Emperor Workstation might be made for die hard video gamers, but imagine how much work you could get done on one of these everyday…that’s at least like 20 TPS reports or something.
This bad boy is a a “ergonomical solution that enhances comfort, productivity, and gaming work experience” by giving you features such as three TFT displays, light therapy, THX-sound, an air filter, and possibly an overinflated geek ego. Oh and in case you were wondering how you get into this thing, a simple push of a button makes the arm holding the displays lift up to allow for your magnificent exit.

Connect with nature at work.
Summer is officially upon us, and if you are lucky enough to work by a window, then you have probably started fantasizing about running out of the office and rolling around in the grass…Ok that’s probably just me, but it I’m sure most will agree that it has become harder to focus now that the days are brighter and the weather is perfect for…well anything besides sitting at work. While you probably can’t get out of your job duties, you could at least bring nature closer to you with the Sensory Lamp by Sara Rossbach.
The Sensory Lamp is meant to enhance creativity and productivity by creating a closer relationship between our work environment and nature. The lamp has lights that mimic the natural day cycle, slowly changing in color and intensity throughout the day.
The smell of the grass, along with the act of nurturing the grass acts as a sort of therapy and increases work productivity and happiness.
