TSA Friendly Laptop Case
Having just returned from a brief vacation, the experience of going through airport security is still fresh in my mind, particularly the annoyance of being forced to remove my laptop from its case, and not being allowed to put it in one of the 3 bins I already had laid out for the rest of my junk. Luckily there are now a few TSA-friendly laptop bags, including this FlyThru case from Belkin.

World’s Fastest Photocopier
Instead of wasting precious time explaining the many ways in which this marvelous machine will improve your life, I’ll skip right to the facts. It’s called The ORPHIS X9050, it’s made by the Japanese office quipment manufacturer Riso, and is supposedly the world’s fastest color photocopier.

Write Checks In Style
Any business man will tell you that the constant portrayal of success is essential to actually achieving it. And if there’s one accessory that is guaranteed to signal your success to others, its a big shiny pen. And they don’t come much fancier than this one.
This limited edition 18k gold pen from Caran d’Ache, titled 1010, was built to “celebrate the special genius of watchmakers”, the name having been chosen because of the perfectly balanced look of a watch’s hands at that time. The pen alludes to the inner workings of a fine timepiece in several ways, including non-working gears underneath the pen’s transparent surface, a clip in the shape of a watch hand, a decorative balance wheel poised between two rubies, and small tick marks etched around its barrel.
With a price tag of $19K this pen is the real deal, meaning that to afford it your business dealings need to be as well.

Office Halloween Decorations

If your office happens to have a bunch of old Mac computers sitting around not being used, then why not use them as halloween decorations by converting them into some sweet Mac-O-Lanterns?
First, spray paint the outside of the computer orange. Then paint the mouse brown, and attach it to the top of the monitor using epoxy. Finally, make a Jack-O-lantern face of your choice through any photo program and upload it to the computer.

Hot & Cold Coffee Mug
Remember that USB coffee warmer I found last week? Well I think I just found its perfect companion.
When filled with a freshly made batch of coffee, the Hot Cold Mug magically transforms from a standard size black mug with big white letters that say COLD, to a standard size white mug with the letters HOT.
Pretty effin awesome.
Order yours at Charles & Marie.

Office Desks: Part 2
Next up in my office desk series is the MILK desk by designer Soren Kjaer. The desk aspires to appear smart but not overly sophisticated, to unite simple form with practical function, and is truly one of the more visually appealing computer desks I have come across.
Aside from making your Mac look even more pretty, the MILK desk features a built in fish tank, garbage bin, pen holder, file cabinets, height adjuster, cable drawer, and an iPod storage box. It measures 55.12′ by 31.49′ and comes in a white high gloss lacquer with a massive aluminium or chrome foot.
You can buy the MILK desk HERE.
More pics after the jump.

iPhone Spreadsheet Application

If you own an iPhone you have undoubtedly spent countless hours browsing through the vast sea of applications. There’s virtually a application for anything you could possibly need, from finding nearby restaurants or gas stations, managing your finances, listening to online radio, and of course games to help you kill down-time. But surprisingly enough, there has not been a basic spreadsheet application…until now.
Softalk recently announced their new application, simply called Spreadsheet, which does exactly what the name implies; it allows you to create Excel-like spreadsheets which you can then email through the phone.
Spreadsheets created with the app are said to work with Excel 2003 and up, will feature more than 50 functions, and can be purchased through the App store for $7.99.
