The Office Master Blog Contest!!
I spend much of my time looking for interesting gadgets or ideas that I feel are worth sharing with those of my readers who (like me) spend all day working in a cubicle, and just need a few minutes to relax and read something funny.
While I have claimed the official title of Office Master, the truth is that I find many of my stories from other blogs, who in turn then also deserve the title.
Therefore I am hosting my first ever Are You An Office Master? contest to find someone to share the title with!!!
How To Enter:
- Write a post on your blog about something related to the cubicle experience (whether it be weird gadgets, funny stories, helpful tips, or outrageous pranks…it doesn’t matter, as long as it’s either useful and/or entertaining). ** Bonus points if you link back to me!
- Post a link to your blog in my comment section to notify me of your entry.
The winner will be chosen by me, and will receive one of the brand new Jawbone 2 Bluetooth Headsets!!
The contest begins Tuesday, August 5th 2008, and will end at 12:00 AM on Tuesday, August 26th, which means you have three weeks to enter.
Eligible entries will be judged based on:
- Creativity/Originality
- Usefulness/Entertainment Value
- Relevancy To Cubicle Life
- Overall Quality of Writing
Not sure what to write about? here are some post ideas:
- Reviews of interesting office technology/gadgets
- Alternative/strange uses of office supplies
- Funny stories from your job
- Tips on productivity/slacking

Hemming with a stapler, hanging things on my cube walls with a twisted paperclip, using tape as a lint brush or using a metal hanger to stop my dress from clinging, hmmm…there are so many things I use creatively at work. I use my ruler to scratch my back if I can’t reach.
I’m sure your readers will come up with more interesting things than these, but it may get people thinking in that direction.
